ABOUT
I’m Panos Charalampidis, a web developer currently living and working in Athens, Greece. Having a great passion for creation, I’ve been building stuff for as long as I can remember. Nowadays I design, implement, and deliver web apps and websites.
I love everything about science and arts, even more so combining them. I hold a BSc degree in Physics (Major: Computer Science) and I have advanced knowledge of music theory, performance, and production. In the past I have worked as a Physics / Math Teacher, Guitar Instructor, Session Musician, and Mixing / Recording Engineer having a successful career in each one of these fields. Working solo or as part of a team I have built hard and soft skills to be a valuable collaborator for any project.

CODING
I’m fluent in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, CSS, and HTML, and I have experience with Angular 2, React, Next.js, and Redux libraries/frameworks.
Although my main focus is on front-end development I’m also experienced in back-end frameworks (Express & Django), API design, as well as SQL and NoSQL databases.

TOOLING
When I don’t start a new React or Angular project, I utilize other tools such as Gulp that runs tasks to make my code production ready (Rollup, Babel, PostCss etc). I’m also familiar with Webpack. Of course I always use Git for version control.

I use Figma as my main tool for designing and prototyping, in conjunction with other programs for editing or creating images. I’m also familiar with Adobe XD.

With many years as a music producer and mixing engineer under my belt, I’m an expert in audio processing with advanced knowledge of many DAWs. Having also experience in making music videos, documentaries and instructional videos for my Youtube channel (funkpunk) I’m very comfortable with video editing.
